Partner                : The Asia Foundation, Decentralization Support Facility, International Finance Corporation

Title               : Improving Business Climate at Sub National Level

Description    : The program was continuation of the similar program in 2009 with new focuses on the implementation of RIA method and improving one stop service for business licensing at district level. Beside at central level, the program was implemented in two provinces namely South Sumatera and Riau. In implementimg the program in the two provinces, Akademika had a collaboration with Pinus (Pilar Nusantara) as local partner.

Title               : Improving Business Climate at Sub National Level

Description     : The program aims to improving busines climate at sub national level through promotion and development of one stop service (OSS) and regulation impact analysis (RIA). The specific objective is to improve the capacity of provinces so that they can support districts to implement OSS and RIA.  The program covers national level activities and province level activities in two sites namely Bali and North Sulawesi.

Title               : Study on Willingness to Pay for Piped Water in East Java and West Java

Description     : The specifif objective of the study is estimating willingness to pay for piped water in two districts in West Java (Bandung Regency and Cianjur Regency) and three districts in East Java (Blitar Regency, Lamongan Regency and Malang Regency).  Household interviews are conducted in villages those have been served by community based water service (BPSAB). However, the respondents are not only users, but also non-users.

Title               : Developing One Stop Service for Business Licensing in Bekasi

Description     : The Asia Foundation has been supporting around 40 districts in Indonesia to develop OSS for business licensing. As one of industrial district near Jakarta, Bekasi is a very interesting "test case" for the effectivenss of OSS to boost investment.

Title               : Study on the Institutional Dimensions of CLTS in Indonesia

Description     : CLTS (community-led total sanitation) has been adopted by Indonesia and implemented in some districts.  The study is focused on the institutions arrangement needed fpr scaling up of CLTS.

Title               : Evaluation on the Regional Forum for SMEs (Forda UKM) 

Description    : Forda UKMs are SME associations at province and dsitrict level those are initiated by The Asia Foundation since 1998. The evaluation is needed to formulate new strategy to support business association as part of civil societies.

Title               : Study on the Government's Knowledge, Attitude and Motivation on Pro Poor                Sanitation Program 

Description    : The study was conducted in six cities namely Gorontalo, Denpasar, Blitar, Surakarta, Pekalongan and Solok. As reflected by the title, the study aims to get information about contraints faced by government institutions to invest their money to the pro poor sanitation programs.

Title               : Local Governance Support Program (LGSP)

Description    : LGSP is funded by USAID, managed by RTI International.  LGSP gives technical supports to local governments to integrate participatory planning and budgeting.  As [art of preparation before implementation, assessment is conducted.  Akademika was responsible for early assessment (LGRAM) in 5 districts (DEpok City, Tangerang City, Lebak, Pandeglang and Serang).  Furthermore, Akademika was doing the advance assessment (LGAMP) to identify the needs priorities in Depok and Tangerang as two pf selected districts.
